Life has its difficulties, we do not always progress as we would like. Sometimes there are obstacles, some a bit more complicated than others. Sometimes we want to feed our egos, thinking about overcoming them on our own, and what we do instead is limit our chances of success (and the quality of our life).
With the right help at the right time, we can face bigger challenges and overcome obstacles more easily than if we faced them alone.
Networking can be defined as the action or process of interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts. (Oxford Dictionary). That is, connecting with others.
How to give meaning and value to this connection?

- Communication
Ideally, you have to be able to communicate your goals, your ambitions. It will be easier to align yourself with those who are looking for something similar or going in the same direction.
- Listening
Not everything is about you. There are many personalities and not everyone is going to make the effort to speak up. Some people will only speak if you give them space.
- Charm
Make things easy for others, be nice and you will see how you attract people.
- Care
Relationships must be cared for, otherwise they fade. When people ignore you, the message they send is that you do not matter to that person. The same goes for you :- There are no rules about frequency, but you must make an effort, and regularly.
- Flexibility
One of my favorite pillars in coaching. Nothing beats face-to-face contact, but it’s not always possible and there are other ways to show others that we care.
How to go from a network of contacts to a supportive network? Imagine how you could enjoy your relationships by feeling better connected and aligned. There are people for all tastes, reach out to others and build your network!
